All the Little Shops - Wombourne
In partnership with Sainsbury’s All the Little Shops has been set up to help independent retailers, and local producers in Wombourne. The website is far more than a directory of local shops and destinations - the site is a full e-commerce solution and enables independent retailers to list a selection of their products on the internet and sell on-line if they wish, using a secure single payment gateway. Most retailers take advantage of our PROMO Voucher – a downloadable incentive voucher that captures data and can be redeemed in your shop – therefore driving important footfall into your shop and into the village of Wombourne.
The successful funding from our sponsors means that the majority of the costs will be covered and allow all independent traders in Wombourne to add their shop or business and add up to 30 products – totally free! Funding from Sainsbury’s means we can run this website for the benefit of Woodbourne’s independent businesses to Feb 2012. But there is much more we can do with our website and local sponsors can make this happen.
Local sponsors are invited to support this unique initiative - A fresh approach to help keep our market towns and villages vibrant.
All the Little Shops helps promote Shop Local campaigns, helps independent businesses embrace the internet with our e-business and e-commerce loyalty system. But most important of all, the project can be sustainable and self-funding with the support of the local business sponsors.
With additional sponsorship we may upgrade the project and add a Loyalty Card using SMART card technology as used successfully in Hazemere and Huntly.
Our All the Little Shops scheme in Wombourne also includes monthly group e-mailing system and will help independent retailers embrace the Internet further and help allow independent businesses trade on a more level playing field with the multiples.
The project is open to all independent retailers in the region. The sustainability can only work if the independent retailers pull together to make it happen.
Please register your interest here, without any obligation, to help us help the independent businesses of Wombourne. And why not forward this link to other independents who may be interested…
