ATLS is an online e-business solution for town and city centres to help drive retail footfall into the centre and allow independent retailers an opportunity to raise awareness of their product and services. At the same time ATLS allows these important retailers to trade online and compete on a level playing field with online multiple retailers.
The scheme is targeted at helping Town Centre Management or Business Improvement Districts (BID’s) to promote their Town Centres and support the important independent retailers. ATLS offers theses independents the opportunity to join the scheme and trade online without up front costs or high monthly fees.
Initial funding is provided via the BID or a combination of sponsors formed by the TCM so there are no barriers to entry to the retailers – therefore no reason why all independent retailers cannot join the scheme.
Once established our research suggests that the project could become self funding via our integrated advertising and sponsorship banner promotional systems.
